Percy C. Ashcraft

President

​Percy C. Ashcraft has dedicated over four decades to public service, demonstrating a profound commitment to enhancing community well-being through various governmental roles. His career began in his hometown of Clarksburg, West Virginia, where he was elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates, serving six terms from January 1983 to December 1994.

Transitioning to administrative leadership, Ashcraft became the City Manager of Clarksburg on December 27, 1995, a position he held until October 1, 1999. He then moved to Virginia, serving as the County Administrator for Caroline County from October 12, 1999, through March 11, 2011. In March 2011, Ashcraft assumed the role of County Administrator for Prince George County, Virginia, where he led for over a decade. In December 2021, he accepted the position of County Administrator for King William County, Virginia, continuing his dedication to public administration. ​

Throughout his career, Ashcraft has been actively involved in numerous civic organizations, reflecting his passion for community engagement and development. His extensive experience in government operations, policy development, and community relations underscores his unwavering commitment to public service and enhancing the quality of life for citizens.
